On Saturday February 20th 80 of our lovely sisters volunteered 8-12 hours of their time to help with Zoo La La, a Gala that was hosted by Black Woods Group and The Duluth City Zoo with a purpose to raise the funds needed for a new X-Ray machine. The event raised a staggering $60,000 dollars, that's $45,000 more than the Zoo's goal of $15,000! The event was clearly a complete success, with all 80 girls being completely exhausted by the end of the day but the outcome making every minute of work worth it. We are honored to have helped with such a worthy cause, however this event wouldn't have been made possible without the help of Amanda Goodman. Once Amanda heard that this event needed volunteers, she approached our sorority with the idea, put hours of effort into making it come to life, and was a spectacular coordinator of all 80 of us throughout the process. Huge thank-you's to Amanda, Black Woods Group, The Duluth City Zoo, and the 80 wonderful women that helped make this event possible!
