This past weekend, our chapter put on our annual philanthropy event, Princess for a Day. 60 young princesses participated by getting their hair and makeup done and decorating picture frames, sashes and their very own crowns. But the fun and excitement didn’t end there. It continued with a visit from an honorary Disney princess: Rapunzel from the film Tangled. Rapunzel had shown the girls how to be a princess which included various games and stories. Afterwards, everyone broke for lunch followed by a fashion show that showcased all of the beautiful princesses. A special thanks to those that made this event happen: Danielle Lachermeier, Alexa Fletcher and the Philanthropy Committee. Our chapter made over $600 which will be donated to the philanthropic cause of school and college readiness.
