To benefit our philanthropy cause of school and college readiness, we once again held a lunchbox auction where winners could dine with sisters of Phi Sigma Sigma. In order to have lunch with a sister, potential winners would have to outbid the others. This year we had 32 lunches donated which totaled $1,500! This is almost doubled of what was made the previous semester. A great big shout-out goes to Cassie Berkvam and Danielle Lachermeier who organized the event!!! Great job ladies! LITP
To show support in the fight against cancer, several sisters from the Iota Zeta chapter banned together to creat a Relay for Life team. That night was filled with exciting games, heartfelt speeches, and many eager participants ready to support the cause. Speaking of heartfelt speeches, nothing could have silenced the room like the words of our own Kailey O'Connor of the Upsilon class. She spoke of her battles with cancer and, through great odds, how she will not give up in her fight. We are so very proud to have such a strong and inspiring young woman in our chapter! The Phi Sig relay team was able to contribute $1,300! This was a portion of the $41,000 total raised by the Univeristy of Minnesota Duluth! Way to go girls!! LITP!
