Amanda was initiated in the Spring of 2014 as a Freshman with the rest of our Upsilon class. Since then, she has been selected to be a Recruitment Captain and was elected to both the Standards board and also was the Membership Recruitment Chair for the 2015 calendar year. During her time as Membership Recruitment Chair she received opportunity to research formal recruiting styles by visiting a chapter in Philadelphia, she describes the experience as: "An amazing experience where I made some great relationships!". Amanda acted as the leison for bringing Phi Sigma Sigma and the Lake Superior Zoo together for one of our most successful events of the year, Zoo La La. This not only raised over $60,000 for a wonderful cause but it allowed Iota Zeta to form lasting relationships with the Duluth community that will impact our chapter for years to come! Overall Amanda has clearly had a very significant impact on our chapter, just as I'm sure she will for her time remaining here at UMD! Congratulations Amanda, we all have loved seeing you grow and watching your ideas turn into reality, there is no one more deserving for the April Sister of the Month than you! :)
